The Linux-VServer community is full of people who are more than eager to help anyone who needs help. However, it can be a bit confusing to try and understand the many communication options.

Here you can check out the various options for discussing Linux-VServer & Co.

IRC Channels

Internet Relay Chat (IRC) is a great way to connect with the community members in real time. The Linux-VServer project maintains the following channels:

We also know of these (unofficial) channels:

Mailing Lists

Mailing lists are a way you can communicate with other community members. Mailing lists are e-mail distribution lists. Each participant (subscriber) can send an e-mail to the mailing list's address that is then distributed to all subscribers. This way groups of the community members can communicate via e-mail.

It seems http://list.linux-vserver.org/ is unavaialble. Are there instructions for how to access the mailing list and search the archives?

You can subscribe by emailing vserver-request@list.linux-vserver.org with subject 'subscribe'.

Nope. Doesn't work, and hasn't worked since Jan 2007. I have been trying intermittently since Jan 2007 to join the mailing lists with no success. Any chance someone could fix this!!!

Me too. I want to unsubscribe for over two months now.... but this is not possible!!. I consider the vserver mailling list to be spam.
